About the Position:

A Counsellor provides guidance, support, and advice to individuals to help them make informed decisions regarding education, career, employment, personal development, and related concerns. The role involves understanding client needs, offering suitable solutions, and maintaining positive relationships.

Key Responsibilities:-

• Provide counselling and guidance to students, job seekers or clients.
• Assess individual needs and recommend appropriate courses, training programs or career opportunities.
• Conduct one-on-one and group counselling sessions.
• Maintain records of counselling activities and client interactions.
• Follow up with clients regarding progress and outcomes.
• Coordinate with educational institutions, training centers or employers.
• Organize awareness programs, workshops and seminars.
• Address client queries through phone, email, and in-person meetings.
• Prepare reports and maintain documentation.

Skills Required:-

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong listening and problem-solving abilities.
• Counseling and guidance skills.
• Ability to build trust and maintain confidentiality.
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer applications.

Experience:-

• 1 Years in counselling or related field

Qualifications:-

• Graduate in any dicipline
• Basic computer certification preferred.
• Good Communication Skillsn and ability to handle individuals with empathy.
• Knowledge of labour laws and welfare schemes will be an added advantage.
