About the Position:

A Sweeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation in offices, institutions, residential complexes, hospitals, schools, commercial establishments, and project sites. The role involves cleaning premises, disposing of waste properly, and ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:-

• Sweep and clean floors, corridors, rooms and common areas.
• Collect, segregate and dispose of waste according to guidelines.
• Clean washrooms, staircases and other designated areas.
• Dust furniture, fixtures and equipment as required.
• Ensure cleanliness of indoor and outdoor premises.
• Refill cleaning supplies and report shortages to supervisors.
• Follow sanitation, hygiene, and safety standards.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and healthy work environment.
• Report maintenance issues or cleanliness concerns to management.
• Perform other cleaning-related duties assigned by supervisors.

Skills Required:-

• Knowledge of basic cleaning and sanitation practices.
• Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment safely.
• Good physical fitness and stamina.
• Attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Basic communication skills.

Experience:-

• Previous experience in housekeeping, sanitation, or cleaning services will be preferred.

Qualifications:-

• 8th Pass, 10th Pass or equivalent qualification.
• Basic literacy will be an added advantage.
